June 5th – Pressure Canning – Food Preservation Seminar Series at Garden Gate Green House, 3415 E. 500 S. at 6:30 pm. We are pleased to offer a series of seminars this year focused on preserving food. This seminar will identify low acid foods and the importance of pressure canning them. Discussion will involve learning about a pressure canner and safety concerns and procedures (processing, storing, and testing a canner dial gauge). Jane will show different types of pressure canners and demonstrate the correct way to use one. The cost will be $10 for each seminar.
